So it is no surprise that plenty of groups and coach tours choose to visit this village for a wander and a rest and couple Keith Johnson and Alison Larkin offer a warm welcome.

Their spacious and beautifully renovated pub with warm open fires for those colder days, can seat 50, both inside and outside.

For those feeling thirsty the wine list is extensive and forreal ale fans, although The Fox Inn is Freehouse, their main supplier is Adnums. Even CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) often hold their meetings at the Fox, a true recommendation for the beer here. Foodies will not be left disappointed with their superb chef cooking an array of daily specials including battered fish and chips with mushy peas, steak and ale pies, fresh fish dishes and fantastic homemade soups and scotch eggs and sausage rolls - warm from the oven for the smaller appetites.
